Re: Video recording settings

Hi there Type, Just to put you in the right direction. Personally, settings are purely dependent on the requirements you need. If you want the highest quality recorded footage then ramp up the settings in a lossless codec *BUT* settings vary on your computer's hardware specification. Higher the sett...

Re: Suggestion: allow use of VFW codecs, especially x264.

Hi Mark, If your wanting to record high quality footage that is directly editable in a NLE (Non-Linear-Editor) for instance Premier Pro or After Effects then I would record in either Motion JPEG or YV12 as these are direct editable codecs. Premier Pro and many other NLE's really don't like Xvid, Div...

Re: internal sound recording

Hi FreeMaverix.

Are you using a sound card or onboard sound?

Make sure "Stereo Mix" is enabled and mute the microphone because it will record both.

Re: My opinion: Bandicam lags more than Fraps

Hi everyone, I tried out the trial version of Bandicam 1.7.0 a few days ago, hoping it lags less than Fraps, but in my case Fraps was the winner. I know Bandicam can save me a lot of time by not needing conversion and the lag is not THAT annoying, but it bugs my eye. My specs are:[/u] Pentium DualC...

Hi Mark,

Your suggestion is good and I'm sure something like is going to be implemented soon. I did mention whether or not Bandicam could feature presets for advanced users with more knowledge and higher specified computers.

Re: FPS limiting

Hi alexsama, I think you have answered your own question, you mentioned that you turn off aero in Windows 7 and for a user to be able to enable aero the specification of the computer would need to be fairly average. Aero is dependant upon as graphics card and a feasible amount of ram. Please state y...

Re: GUI Update, Manual FPS & Multi-Channel Support?

Thanks for answering and giving me feedback on my suggestions. Something I wish to discuss; Another suggestion I would like to share is to capture audio in WAV format, it's the best format to record sound with as WAV is 100% uncompressed and although the file size will be large it's particularly han...

GUI Update, Manual FPS & Multi-Channel Support?

Good Evening Bandicam Forums, I have a suggestion I wish to share with the community. In the next update perhaps a GUI update should be included to give it a "Windows 7 Aero" feel. For example like a tinted glass look. Not something necessary rather then something to consider in future updates. Anot...

Re: Multi-Channel Audio

Thanks for the information, good to hear to it! I upload the finished recordings to YouTube.com once I have edited them, it's just a shame YouTube's HD compressor it very poor at handling HD content as the video becomes pixelated and some data is "lost". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJdkLzvagu4 Re...
