H.264 in 1920x1072

Sun Nov 03, 2013 4:45 am

Hello.
I've found that Bandicam supports AMD APP and wanted to try it. It works fine with Catalyst 13.11 beta 8, but I have strange issue - it records videos in 1920x1072 on my Full HD monitor (HDMI connection). How can this be fixed? I don't want to loose 8 pixels :)

UPD: Maybe you're using presets with 16x16 blocks and it should be 8x8 or even 4x4 blocks?

1. Do you have the problem with Xvid codec of Bandicam?

2. Could you be more specific about the problem?
- What is the resolution of your recording target?
- What is the resolution of your monitor?
- What is the resolution of the video you recorded through Bandicam?

If the resolution of your recording target is 1920x1072, the resolution of the video will be 1920x1072.

1. XviD works fine. All other codecs work fine too.
2. My monitor is 1920x1080, all games are run in native resolution, capture is full frame.

Will it help if I provide your technician with a Teamviewer access to my computer to study deeply this issue?

If you say so... could you let us know how we can reproduce the problem?
(We changed the monitor resolution to 1920x1080, chose 'H.264 AMD APP", started the game in full screen, but we can only get 1920x1080 videos.)

I don't really know. Just have 8 pixels cut on the bottom of the screen. Maybe it's my drivers, maybe it''s some combinations of software or hardware. I've tried ticking all options in drivers, but nothing helped.

Do you have K-Lite Mega Codec pack installed? Maybe Bandicam uses the system codec?

Thank you, but I still have 8 pixels cut at the bottom of the screen in recorded video :(

The strange thing is that media players and Sony Vegas shows the video without 8 pixels. When I uploaded to Youtube, the video is fine. I've tried to recode some seconds in Vegas and the result was fine. So, the video is recorded in full resolution, but what is wrong?
