Sound recording making chipmunk squeak

Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:41 pm

I got bandicam after looking at the trial and it worked very well

However, now i have a problem, every time i make a recording, the audio goes like a very fast squeaky chipmunk, but the video still plays.

Is there a fix to fix this please?

I'm having a similar problem. The audio makes a quick chirp at the beginning of the clip, and after that, the rest of the video is silent.

I've tried everything on the FAQ page, but to no avail. What's going on?

Specs:

Windows 7 64 bit
ATI Radeon HD 5570
Bandicam Version 1.7.8
Direct X / Open GL window

Sounds like a problem with conflicting mic frequencies to me.

Are you certain that your microphone's recording frequency and the frequency of the audio in Bandicam are the same?

That is just a guess, mind you.

The problem persists even if I'm not recording the microphone, and the problem doesn't occur in Fraps. But then again, my version of Fraps is old and can only record one stream of audio at a time (game audio in this case).

Do you use the "Secondary Sound Device" of Bandicam?
If you do, disable your Secondary sound device

If you still have the problem, send your "Record settings" screenshot and the sample *.avi file at bandicam@bandisoft.com

Hello!

Could you send a short video clip to bandicam@bandisoft.com or post a YouTube link?

* Some solutions.

1. It might be a problem with the codec or your media player.
Try "Motion JPEG" and "PCM" audio codec as shown below:

2. Please go to http://www.bandicam.com/faqs/robot-echo ... one-noise/
