Recording audio from a microphone and a game.

Thu Jul 14, 2011 2:50 am

As the title suggests I'm having trouble getting both the in game sounds and my talking through a mic on the same recording. I've been messing with the settings and it seems only one or the other with work. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

* Windows XP user
You have to check both "Stereo Mix" and "Microphone"

* Windows 7/Vista user
You have to check "Microphone"

hey, you have the same option of adding a second audio input is not proved necessary as the stereo mix is very annoying, or it is not advisable to use it?

Personally, I would record mic separately as this gives you more freedom and room to work with the footage you got!
