BandiCam Update

Sat Mar 08, 2014 5:07 pm

I noticed there was an update for Bandicam. I can't find the change logs anywhere.

Was the issue with using IE 11 and Banicam fixed?

Also on a side note, automatic update didn't work even though I had it checked. I had to hit "check for updates" manually.

Hi Xellon,

I was having issues with the version previous to this and uninstalling all IE11 components did not solve it. It was about time for a Windows Re-install anyway, so I did that, and it solved the problem with the previous version completely. Now, I am running 1.9.4.505 (latest as of this post) and it seems to be able to be installed, restarted over and over, and run and record just fine. None of the previous 'freezing the whole computer' or locking up problems seem to be occurring so far - try it out

Btw, change logs ("version history") are usually at the bottom of the main Download page at Bandicam.com (http://www.bandicam.com/downloads/)

Hello!
Was the issue with using IE 11 and Banicam fixed?
No, we haven't reproduced/fixed the problem.
We have no idea why some people are having the issue with IE 11.
automatic update didn't work even though I had it checked.
There are 'Major' and 'Minor' updates.
If there are major updates, we automatically let the users know the updates.
If there are minor updates, we don't let the users know the updates.
We will improve the update methods in the future.

Thank you for letting us know.

I went ahead and reinstalled Ie 11 (or rather updated to 11 again) and Bandicam seems to be working just fine. It hasn't froze on me or anything.

Odd. I can't reproduce the issue either. Well, glad to have IE 11 back.

I have IE11 and have had no problems with either of them at all.

Strange issue. Then again I don't use IE11 very often. I have used both bandicam and IE11 at the same time though.

It is a strange issue - but it isn't really an issue with using both at once, it is more of an issue of Libraries or Program Calls between the two programs. Ever since IE9, Internet Explorer is Hardware Accelerated by the GPU. There may have been an update that conflicted with Bandicam and it's Libraries somehow, recently. Bandisoft's suggestion of Uninstalling all IE11 components worked for some people, but not for me, and others (like yourself) aren't having any issues at all at this time. Be happy you aren't!
